I have a client who when tries to open an opportunity on his laptop gets the following error:

"maxwin.exe has generated errors and will be closed down by windows."

Restarting the laptop does not solve the problem. They are using Maximizer Enterprise version 6. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Does he use MaxAlarm or MaxFinder or even the OrderDesk?

Try removing the orderdesk first by load Windows Explorer and Browsing to C:\Program Files\Maximizer\Plug-ins\BPwindow and rename the folder 'BPwindow' to something like 'BPwindowX'

and try Maximizer again.

If you have no luck then we will have to try MaxAlarm and MaxFinder
