Maxwin has generated errors

One of my users frequently gets the message 'Maxwin has generated errors and will be closed by windows'.
He says that this seems to happen when he selects hotlists and then goes back to address book.
He has win2000 with max 5.5

You can try this on the Max cd you will find a folder called WGE, run the setup.exe file and install the engine. this allows pervasive to be available before application is started and usually fixes errors like this...

Rather than reinstall the entire engine, wouldn't it be easier to just follow the steps to pre-load it?
