MECI Slave process error

I am using Max9 and Outlook 2003. I can't get them to syncronize using the "synch to outlook " command in the tools menu.

I get an error message that says "MECI slave process cretion failed with error 0X2"

Can anyone offer suggestions on how to fix this problem?
