I used the web query wizard and a bunch of customization to create a form that posts data through Maximizer's cgi script engine. When I select the option to create an MTI file I get that emailed to me and it opens fine. All the information on the form is right where I expect it in the new address book entry. But I would really like to use the Advanced Import function and the MXI XML file format. When I change the parameters to create the MXI file and do the import most of the information from the form is missing. I can change back and forth between the MTI and MXI formats in my web query page and can recreate the problem. The XML format just does not import and bring the necessary information along with it.

What am I doing wrong?

I don't like to have to double click and execute the MTI file when it comes in because that's a slow process requiring a whole new instance of Maximizer to open up and run. So I close that instance after grabbing my new customer data, but when I need to import a second file I have to do all this over again! That's why I want to move to the XML (MXI) format.

I found something in a v. 7.5 user guide that said the xml format was only useful for importing basic information and this may be added in a subsequent version. Does anyone out there use either the MTI or MXI file import? I customized the perl script to get rid of the spam hole since the smtp address was shown right in the inquiry htm page. But this has been working well with the mti format, just not the mxi.
