Well I'm on my way to trying the Trial version of Max. A feature that I am really interested in is the Incoming Call feature, but so far I am struggling.

First modem (Best Data 56K v.92 USB) decects the call and window pops up in Maximizer, but there is not caller Id info (modem doesn't support caller id)

Second Modem (US Robotics 56K USB FaxModem). Support Caller ID. In HyperTerminal I see it ring and the caller id info come in. But Maximizer never sees the incoming call at all. It doesn't even pop up the no match window like the other modem does.

Anyone know a trick to get the US Robotics modem to work or a specific modem that will work?

Thanks

Yes, unfortunately its not much help. My problem is the only modem I've found local that supports Caller ID is the US Robotics and for whatever reason, Maximizer doesn't even reconize the fact there's an incoming call with it. I know the modem is good as it works in other software. And I know I have everything right in Maximizer, because if I configure it for the other modem it reconizes the incoming call but not caller id info because that modem doesn't support it.

Is no one using the incoming call feature? I figured someone would reply that was using it and with what modem they have.
Well I'm getting closer. I now have a Creative Labs USB Modem (Model DE5671) and Maximizer reconizes the incoming call. But... (there's always a but)

The popup window comes up and shows "No Matches" right after the first ring, but the Caller ID #, doesn't show up until after that, so its like its searching before it gets the caller id info. The info is coming in now, but its not matching because it seems to be searching before it gets the id info.
