I am an network administrator for a small 200 employee company. I have just inherited the responsibility for the management and support for Maximizer 5 / MaxExchange 5 / and MaxExchange Distribution Mgr. and there’s no documentation. Looks like the database is configured to use the pervasive 7.0 engine on the server and the btrieve engine on the client. This is a nightmare for me since my background is on networking and not on database administration. My plea to you guys is for Help!!! If anyone has any documentation on Maximizer 5 on electronic format on setup and usability I will be truly appreciative.

Save yourself some headaches:

1. Call 1-800-624-4153 to locate a certified Maximizer Business Partner in your area.

2. Upgrade your software. Support for Version 5 lapsed long ago. You can get a really good deal on the upgrade to Version 8 if you do it before February 27th.
