I have Act 2005 and have just purchased Maximizer (running trial version and waiting for the mannual and cd for purchased version to be delivered).

With most contact management systems it is obvious where to start although perhaps not how to use in the best way. With Maximizer, I'm not really sure. Looks like a focus is people within companies, which I can see how might be very important for some, but for me, I work with people almost all are 1 to a company and I rarely access by the company name. Is there are recommended setup (maybe called a view) for people in my situation? Is there a way to list people and not waste the 2nd window with contacts.

Hopefully the manual will help when I receive it, I guess that I can see why Maximizer is able to sell the tutorial, but seems a basic tutorial should be included with the product.

Careful about looking at your later options, Dave. While you can turn Contacts for Companies into Individuals later, you cannot turn Individuals into Contacts. The closest you can come is to "Associate" Individuals with Companies. You'll have to see how the implications of that fit your needs, but thought I should give you a heads up - we ran into the same question.
