Hello,

I am running low on space. I am running Maximizer Enterprise v8 with MaxExchange and I need to move the Pervasive databases to the D: volume.

How can this be accomplished without reinstalling the software? I have searched the Maximizer KB and found nothing except for a document regarding moving a SQL database.

Thank you,
SDC

Gord, I appreciate your response but the reason I posted this message was because I was hoping to find some assistance here.

I am well aware of Regeneration because that is whom I purchased this software through.

Currently they are not entirely sure how this can be accomplished. I was hoping that someone here might be able to suggest something.

I have to say that this upgrade to version 8 has been nothing short of a painful ordeal with all the bugs (primarily with MaxExchange) and slow responsiveness of the desktop application.

I am not happy with the amount of money I have already spent for consultants trying to correct problems created by Maximizer code bugs. I was hoping to get a break by moving the database myself.
Sorry Gord... I am just a little bit more annoyed tonight because I just spent the last few hours unsuccessfully trying to fix the database (MaxExchange) synchronization problem.

One moment the laptop has an entire copy of the database sync'd... then a few hours later... Maxexchange deletes it. My next step is to stop running MaxExchange from running as a service.

Also annoying me (and every other client) is the Pervasive error that appears when rebooting a workstation - warning that shutting down the computer could result in a corrupted database.
