ODBC dsn registration problem with m. enterprise 2000

This is bad. I'm installing max 2000 enterprise. I want to do a link table with odbc dsn, but I can't register a dsn because when I click on System DSN, Add, Maximizer, it put me back at the original menu without any explanations.

I'm on windows 98. May I get any help PLEASE?

Things to check:

- mxzdir.dat must exist. Launch Maximizer, do File > Open and make sure that you can see the Address Book to which you want to link.

- verify that Mxzbtr32.dll and Mxzstp32.dll exist in c:\windows\system

- check the PATH to ensure that c:\pvsw\bin is included

If it still doesn't work, try reinstalling Maximizer (or perhaps just the MDAC component).
