I'm trying to open a database located on another PC running Maximizer CRM 11.
I have Max 11 installed on the second computer but cannot get the other SQL Server to show up in the "server" list so as to op
I don't see instructions in the admin guide on how to do this. Any experts that can outline what we need to do, or how the licensing works with Maximizer so that we can determine what we need to do here would be great.

Unfortunately this can occur for a lot of reasons.

Make sure that if you enter PING remotepcname in a command prompt you get back the right IP address for the server with the database.

Try temporarily disabling firewalls as if these are not correctly configured they may block access to the remote computer.
