Outlook Express

I am having a conflict now and again with Outlook and Maximizer. If I happen not to have Maximizer 8 open when I try to send an email, Outlook will still attempt to send the message, but usually without success. Then if I try and open Outlook I get an error message and it doesn't open. One of the things I like about Maximizer/Outlook integration is being able to create HTML messages in Maximizer. If I were using Outlook Express does the same option for creating HTML message apply?
