Phone Notes not being recorded

Whan I phone out with the dialer my notes are not being recorded in the customers notes, but are in the phone log.

I have the preferences-> History->Log phone calls set to phonelog and notes

I am using Maximizer Enterprize 6 Windows XP.

UK technical support said they don't support Enterprize 6 on windows XP.

Anyone got any ideas? I've tried reinstalling.
