Hi -- hope someone can help with this problem. I love Maximizer, and have used it for many years. I retired and have been using Maximizer 9 which has been a stable platform. When I changed my laptop to Windows 7 OS I had trouble loading it onto a virtual computer system. I was advised to upgrade to Maximizer 11. I loaded a trial version but decided to not go ahead with it for several reasons.
So I uninstalled Maximizer 11 and reloaded Maximizer 9. I discovered I could load it straight onto my Windows 7 OS (no virtual machine needed) and it is working well ... BUT I cannot download SP1 or SP2 patches. I get the message .. 'Cannot download SP1 as a later version of Maximizer is loaded.'
I have been through all my files and cannot find any remnants of Maximizer 11 BUT there must be something in there still.
Can anyone suggest where to look and how to clear whatever is stopping my service patches from downloading... gratefully yours -- Denis
