I've been using Max for 15 years now and have been thru all the upgrades along the way. I just upgraded to Max 9 and added the QB Link. If I create a QB customer it automatically adds their name into the company field in the link and then in QB. In QB I usually add customers in the customer name field with last name and then first seperated by a comma. In the QB Link I select customer not vendor but it still comes up with company. I usually have to delete the first name and list it as lastname firstname. After I make the link to QB I have to go into QB and delete the name out of the comapny field because it will address the envelopes, labels and letters with their name listed twice. Any suggestions as to how I could save these deletion steps?

I create the same problem on my QB Link. I find that I was linking the contact instead of the compagny. If u link the compâgny no first/last name will appear.
Choose a compagny, select the compagny name, right click, QB link, choose, create customer/vendor. Then it will show you what it will create. then choose YES.
