Quick Backup

Does anyone know if you do a Backup using the Quick Backup method can you also restore this data base using the retore data base or do you have to backup the data base using the Admin function using backup the one under restore. Please advise as I am having a problem to restore as I have used the full backup data base to restore instead of the quick and wondered if I should use the quick to backup and then try and restore that. Please advise
