I have been experiencing a really small, but annoying bug in Maximizer 9. It involves the Quick Search button on the tool bar. A brief description is this:
If you are looking at the Calendar window and want to search for some one in the Address Book, you click on the Quick Search tool bar button. Up pops the Quick Search dialog box, as expected. However, right after that the Calendar window is replaced (behind the Quick Search box) with the Address Book window. When this "window switch" happens, the Quick Search box loses the Windows focus and appears grayed-out, like a background window. You have to click on the Quick Search dialog box to enter the desired name for which to search.
I realize this is minor, but in normal office use I pop around Maximizer's windows all the time and frequently use the Quick Search window. Having to click 2 times and having to move my mouse from the tool bar to the Quick Search window is very combersome and slows down the lookup I am trying to make.
I tried most of the other windows and found that this behavior does not seem happen when you are in any window other than the calendar window. For the rest of them, the Quick Search box pops up and you can begin typing right away.
Has anyone else experienced this bug?
Thanks,
Steve
