Recovering data from copy.

I'm trying to recover a database from a copy (not backup)of my old hard drive. They're in DATA001, DATA002, etc. format suggesting that I was using Maximizer 3.0 (I thought I was using 5.0). I've loaded 3.0 and copied the files, renamed/renumbered them, but Error 51 "Invalid Owner" blocks me. (1)Are these really 3.0 files? (2)How can I load them? Any help really appreciated. Thanks.

Error 51 suggests that the files are in fact in Maximizer 5.0 format (or later). They may be in folders DATA001 and DATA002 because they were originally created in Maximizer 3.

Perfect answer, thank you! I stumbled around in the interim and (mostly) figured that out. "Error 51" doesn't mean anything to me, of course, but it went away. Thanks again.
