I set up the software but it doesn't work on my Blackberry 8830 World Edition (Telus). It tells me that it "Cannot read security information. Please sychronize with the desktop and then launch MaxMobile again".

How do I do this?

When I check my Blackberry Desktop Manager and try to configure the Add-on programs under the Synchronize screen, MaxMobile does not show up as an add-on. It IS installed on the BB 8830 though and was installed through the application loader as described in the installation guide.

Do I need to make changes in Maximizer 10. The manual indicates this but doesn't tell you how to do it.

I have a solution to this error message.
Follow the synchronization as per the Getting stated guide. Before you start the section "configuring maxmobile synchronization settings" LOGIN as the administrator go to users and select the user with maximobile and under mobile login enable maximobile. Now when you login as the user and go to preferences there is the maximoble tab.
