Spell Check on Maximizer 7 freezes Word Processor

Does anyone know how to stop the spell check on Maximizer Word Processor on Maximizer 7 when the document has not been saved? Maximizer itself can be accessed but the Word Processor cannot be restored. Unsaved data is lost.
Operating system is Windows 2000. Office XP & Outlook XP also running.

Have you applied the SR2 patch for Max 7? Always a good idea to make sure the program is patched before troubleshooting.
