Sounds to me as if it wasn't installed on your machine, you are going to have to run the MxSetup.exe file again from the CD.

Run through a normal install of Maximizer, but where it asks for Normal, Remote and Custom e.t.c. Choose Custom.

Untick everything then highlight Program Files>Click on Change, untick everything in there except Spell Checker Files and possibly Thesaurus, and continue with the install.

If you are using Outlook as your email program you can turn on "use email programs interface to compose, and read messages" That way you can use the Outlook spell checker for all your email correspondence. One other interesting tidbit of information. In the newest Version of Maximizer. Email loads into Maximizer 100X faster because now there is an option to disable address book lookup for each email loaded in.
thanks for those - I will try the install some time today.

Maxman - i wrote a post a while ago entitled Maximizer e-mail (or something like that) detailing all the problems i've been having with the e-mail interface in Maximizer. -I've never got the "use email programs interface to compose, and read messages" to work at all in Maximizer 6. I've been trying the demo of Max7 which seems a lot better with Outlook but still just as bad with Eudora (which is our standard e-mail client).

anyway - thanks for your time.

cheers,

Ben
Eudora is probably a simple MAPI application, as is Outlook Express. I belive the email interface will only work with Extended MAPI programs like outlook Corporate or Workgroup edition. Outlook Internet mail only is Simple MAPI. To enable Extended MAPI in Maximizer uncheck the Override Extended MAPI option under email preferences.
