Still cannot delete Key Fields

Using Maximizer 9 series 1649, which fixed a bug where Key Fields were unable to be modified/deleted. However, post-installation notes show that: 'After applying this update, it is possible to modify or delete newly created Key Fields definition. However, Key Fields created before applying this update cannot be modified or deleted'

So this update still does not let you delete Key Fields that were previously created. Is there any other way to do delete Key Fields created before 1649?
