Hi All,

Has anybody come across a problem before using Maximizer Enterprise 5.5 on
Windows 2000 (Pro, SP3) where you cannot add certain UDF's under a contact?
The problem is as follows:

On the computer where I use Maxi I add a UDF and fill in the details and
then click OK. On doing so nothing happens and the UDF does not appear under
the contact. This only happens for certain UDF's and not all. The problem
goes deeper if I open the UDF, which is causing problems under another
contact (who already had the UDF). Once opened if I click on the OK button
the UDF disappears under that contact. (if I click the cancel button the UDF
still appears under the contact).

The problem seems to be computer dependant because if I log onto another
computer and do the same procedure everything is OK.
If I log on as another user on the problem computer the UDF problem still
occurs.

This has only happened in the last couple of weeks, as before this it was
all working fine.
I have tried uninstalling Maxi and re-installing into another area of the
computer.
I have also tried deleting the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Maximizer
Technologies\Maximizer registry key and then restarting maxi on the
computer.

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi Andrew,

I have come across this issue before, I think from memory it only affects table UDF's? When you open the table the values are displayed as blank on the affected machine, you then resave the record by closing it and the inofrmation that was previously held is lost.

This is caused I believe by a video driver problem, I would suggest try an updated video driver to see if this resolves the issue.

If not then I would try running the Standard windows SVGA driver to see if this solves the problem.
