We are using Maximiser 7.5 with Max Exchange 7.5.

We have a remote user who is adding data into their local database. However, there is some data in that database that has not been transferred to our main database, because of a previous problem. This laptop syncronises fine now, but the older data not previously transferred has not been added. Is there any way to bring that data from the local site into the main database? Maybe just transfer data between a given time period?

Any suggestions or helpful hints are welcome.

There are several ways to do this:

1. Use the Transfer function of Maximizer (Access via File->Transfer). Select the entries you want to transfer (e.g. address book entries) and then use the appropriate transfer function.
You might need to do this several times for different entries, e.g. address book and user defined entries.

2. If you only need to transfer addressbook data, then you could do an export/import.

3. If your central data base and your remote database are supposed to be the same (e.g. all data is transferred) and the remote workstation contains ALL information you need, then you could do a local database backup on the remote workstation and use the backup data as a basis for your central data base.
I.e. recover the remote data base to the central data base.

Attention! You need to make sure that all of your data is present at your remote workstation.

Hope this helps...
