Hi All,
First time poster, so please be gentle.
Our client is running Max Version 10, Series 1743, Build No 463 on a w2k3 Server with sp2.

All users log on to terminal server to open Max.

The problem we are having is, for some unknown reason, our custom icons on the taskbar keep disappearing. If they were just being set to no visible, it would be easy for the user to fix, however they are completely removed from the toolbars.

It is completely random as to who loses their icons, and when it happens.

As you can understand it is a little frustrating to both the clients and us to have to reset these icons all the time.

If anyone knows any way of stopping this, or if they are having the same issue, please let me know, because my boss is pulling out what little hair he has.

I'm guessing that you've got some registry keys set up in the terminal services install area that are being copied into the users area.

Take a look with regedit (as an adminsitrator on the TS) at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Terminal Server\Install\Software\Maximizer Software

There may be some settings in there that are causing the issue.

We've just deleted that key entirely on our system.
