Tranfer Data Maximizer 7

Running Maximizer 7 for 2 years, Upgraded from Windows 98 to XP. Since then have had nothing but problems with Max7.
Error 3012 Local Engine is not accessable to the MicroKernal Router comes up and from thereon no files will transfer. Worked OK Friday, system shut down, came up with error Monday.
Required complete system setup last time it happenned to rctify problem.
How can I avoid this happenning and how do I fix it?

Hi, Doug.

Make sure that the user account under which you are running Maximizer is a member of the "Power Users" group on the machine ("Administrators" would also work).

If that doesn't help, try removing and reinstalling Maximizer using the instructions here: http:// support.maximizer.com/scripts/support.cfg/php.exe/enduser/std_adp.php?p_refno=020205-000004 (Administrator privileges are required to do the install.)

Doug, the error 3012 means Maximizer has tried to load before the Pervasive engine has loaded. I would suggest you copy the shortcut that starts the pervasive engine from Start>>Programs>>Pervasive and paste it into Start>>Programs>>Startup.

This will make the engine start every time you load windows and should cirucmvent this issue.
