I have been using Maximizer for years and have upgraded my data from version to version.

Today I have around 11,000 companies in the database and when I do a quick back up the "transaction control" number show a number like 75000 this takes forever to backup. Is there a way that I can clear that file?

If you aren't using MaxExchange to synchronize your address book with another machine then you can simply delete the transaction file (MXZTRAN.MAX) from your address book folder.

(Proceed at your own risk, do a full backup first, don't have Maximizer open while you do it, think happy thoughts, etc.)

If you are using MaxExchange then get a Business Partner (or Maximizer Support) to help you.
