Good Afternoon John,
The first thing you should do is look in the folder on the external hard disk that you saved the database into, if there is a file in there called ~PVSW~.loc delete it.
Then go into Maximizer and click File>>New Address Book, give it a name and on the second line where it say to enter the address book location click the button at the end with the '...' on it. Then change the location to the folder you have on the external hard disk and click ok.
You should then recieve a message saying 'Maximizer files have been found in this directory, click Yes to use these files or No to go back and choose a different location'. At this point click 'Yes' and then enter your MASTER password.
You should now have your database connected.
