Unfortunately we still use this,no money for updgrades Frown and are having 2 problems

The first is that on two of the users databases, the spelling function has disapered in the notes.

The second issue we have is that when one of the users drags a contact into hot tasks, we get an access violation error.

Any body have any ideas why either of these problems are happening.

Other background info:

We are using Windows NT 4 Frown
also we have a piece of software called TAS books 3, which uses btrieve 6.15, so we have to use this for the maximizer, due to incompatibilties.

Just a follow up on this error, (the access violations) it might have something to do with a conflict with the tooltips.
Click View - toolbars - highlight each one at a time, click properties and untick display tooltips.

I cannot confirm this to work at present but its what ive been told to try

Cheers

Seen as though no one else knows or isnt telling how to solve the spell button problem,i decided to fix this myself.

Basically you need to edit the users registry with the following keys

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Maximizer Technologies\Maximizer Editor\SPELL CHECK]
"IgnoreDigits"=dword:00000001
"Language"="British English"

and

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Maximizer Technologies\Maximizer Editor\Spell Checker]
"FindUnCap"=dword:00000001
"FindRepeatedWord"=dword:00000001
"FindSplChar"=""
"IgnoreNumeric"=dword:00000001
"IgnoreSingleChar"=dword:00000001
"IgnoreWordNum"=dword:00000000
"IgnoreSplChar"=""
"IgnoreUpper"=dword:00000001
"IgnoreRoman"=dword:00000000
"IgnoreWordSpl"=""

These for whatever reason were missing

I basically exported these keys from a users registry that was working because this is a much quicker way, although typing in should work as well.

Hope this helps someone else
