I'm working with an evaluation copy of Maximizer 9.0. I want to import my ACT!2006 database to evaluate.

I go to Import. The process starts. Then it bombs because the database it is trying to attach does not exist (KGCole.adf). That was the name of the prior database, not the current database (KGlennCole.adf). (ACT's silly requirement when you buy a new PC that you must re-name the database.)

Apparently, there is no "Browse" capability to locate the correct or current database. Is this deficiency solely in the 15-day evaluation copy?

I have only 4 days left to evaulate. Thanks.

If you search the Maximizer Knowledge Base for "act" you will find several articles that might help, such as

ACT! database preparation

How-To: Import ACT! 2005/2006 or ACT! Premium for Workgroups 2005/2006 database

If your evaluation period is about to expire and you need more time you can call Maximizer and ask for an extension.
