uninstalling maximizer 7

running windows nt, with ms office 2000. Try to uninstall maximizer 7 from add/remove programs and get message "Internal error, unable to load or call external dll. Please contact your vendor for more information". Anyone ever see this before?

You might want to check if any of the pervasive components are still running or in use by other applications. Pervasive files are wbtrv32.dll, w3dbsmgr.exe also make sure maxfinder maxalarm are also shut down. Other apps that use pervasive are peachtree, timberline.... there are others but those are fairly popular.

You might also get that error if you did not install completely did you abort the install or crash during?
