I use Outlook as my primary email client. Is there anyway I can have a contacts Maximizer record be updated to note that email has been received in Outlook?

I relaise that I could use the eMail view in Maximizer, and "add a document" to a contacts record, but I would prefer to be able to continue using Outlook for reading all inbound email.

Even if it can't be done compeltely automatically, is there maybe a toolbat for Outlook (either Maximizer's own or a thrid-party add-on) that would let me press a button in Outlook to update a Maximizer record?

TIA,

NIck

Nick,

The outlook interface to Maximizer is handled through the MAPI as such it is simply a pass through. The e-mail window in Maximizer is simply a view of Outlook and all create/send e-mail functions within Maximizer simply call the appropriate outlook function via MAPI.

There is a toolbar for outlook that allows you to copy an e-mail from outlook to the matching contact in Maximizer however I'm not sure that this is available under v9 however.
Thanks, CABC Support person. Yes, I realise that in Maximizer I can see all my Outlook email messages, and that gives me a workaround, albeit a clumsy one.

As I read all my email in Outlook itself, and only use Maximizer for searching for propsects, tracking contact with them, etc, what I was hoping for is a way that I could, when in Outlook, push a button to tell Maximizer to make a record that I have received a response from a prospect.
