Upgrade MaxEnt 2000 to MaxEnt SQL 5.1?

Not upgrade maybe downgrade?

Testing functionality of Maximizer Enterprise 2000 (5.5) with 10 user Pervasive workgroup engine.

Will the database be able to open the betrive files with Max Enterprise SQL 5.1 if the company decides to go that way? They are a large user of MSSQL 7 already.

If not can we do a Transfer Address Book entries from 5.5 to 5.1?

I'm pretty sure that they won't. IIRC the Btrieve and MS_SQL versions are completely different animals and cannot read each others' Address Books directly.

Between that and Backup/Restore you should be able to get the stuff into the SQL database. Don't know for sure if there is any version weirdness between 5.5 and 5.1, but I don't think there is....
