I purchased Max for a sum of around $350. I now have Win 98 and want to use again. Is there an upgrade for free?

Which version of Maximizer do you currently have? It may well work with Windows '98.

Windows 98 has support for 16 bit app's and greater so I believe that all versions of Maximizer will work with Windows 98. I know if you are using the 16 bit version of Maximizer (3.0). You will get an annoying message that appears on startup but will still let you into the application.
