Hi there, I was wondering if I could get some help with some problems I've been having with Maximizer. Recently, I had a problem with my Maximizer 10 where for some reason, my address book would no longer accept either my old password or the default password.

I was intending to upgrade to Maximizer 10.5 anyway, so I installed it on my newer laptop as well as Microsoft SQL Server 2005. After finding my old address book as a .bak file, I transferred it to my new machine. I tried restoring it on Maximizer but I still can't access the address book. Additionally, I also ran into a problem where if I tried to connect to an address book after starting up the program and being unable to login to my address book, I would get a notification saying that Maximizer is not installed on my machine or is not available at the moment.

Does anyone know of a way to fix this problem or maybe to see if my address book is corrupt or not? I really need the information that is inside the book and any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I think the problems you are having are due to an inconsistency between the passwords you have set in Maximizer and those in use in SQL. Normally restoring a .bak file will automatically put the database in the correct state. If you do not know the passwords that are set then I regret I can not provide you with details on this forum of how to reset the passwords. However, this is possible and we could resolve this as an incident which can be purchasd at www.crmshop.co.uk
