I am using Maximizer 5.0.
A few times I have entered all our literature (PDF format) into the marketing library, but every time I exit the program, or even switch to another function such as email, it all vanishes! The folder structure remains, but all the files go. I have tried both copying and linking, with the same problem whichever I do. Can anyone give me any advice?
Thanks

To guarantee that you can view / preview literature within Maximizers Marketing Library, it must be entered as a note.

Other formats are supported but may be limited by what other software you have installed on your Computer.

But, you can attach PDF files if you add them as an;
OLE Document>create doc from file>browse for PDF file, then name it.

It can't be previewed within Max, but right clicking over icon or double clicking on file name will load Acrobat Reader, then your PDF file.

hope this answers your question,

I have had exactly the same problem using Acrobat 5 (full version). The method for attaching the documents doesn't work for me whether I link or embed the documents. Since pdf documents are so common you would have though multiactive would have supported it. It works fine with word documents.

you must specify owner as PUBLIC else no one but the master can see it in the Library.

I use the full version of Acrobat 5 with Windows 2000 professional.

I think I shall make enquiries into which operating systems are affected like this.
Windows 2000 and XP, seem to be able to embed and link PDFs.

hope the link helps
