Vista Error upon opening Max 9 Editor

Trying to open Editor in Maximizer 9.0. Getting VISTA error "Maximizer Support File Has Stopped Working" Any solutions?

I have just encountered this problem with Vista Home Premium and Maximizer 9 on my new HP laptop. Any solutions out there?

I've been told that Max 9 is not fully compatible with Vista. Apparently, it is recommended you upgrade your Pervasive stuff from 9.1 (which ships with Max 9) to 9.5. I have done this with our installation, and it's helped lessen the frequency of these types of error, although not stopped them entirely.
