Has anyone ever had problems on MaxExchange 5 running VNC "Virtual Network computing" remote desktop from AT&T Labs. My Co-worker used to support maximizer and claims that he experience data loss when the vnc service is running on the MaxExchange box. I have seen problems with VNC "display issues" when Maximizer is open and some one is editing the Database but never when the only thing is running is MaxExchange and the VNC service.

How many of you administrators us VNC to monitor your exchange boxes????

Do I have anything to worry about???

From my own and others experience with max 7.5 VNC is known to have a problem performing serveral actions including adding fields and user setup. You do somethign it looks like it is committed but it does not.
I am not suprised if there are other data entry issues in other versions.
Gord is right upgrade to 7.5 it is night and day on stability and the inclusion of diagnostic tools makes it much easier for problem solving and monitoring.
