I am trying to determine where individual user profile/configuration information is stored. Specifically, I have ONE user on a particular workstation that is unable to start Maximizer without the "maxwin.exe has generated errors..." message immediately after attempting to start maximizer. Other users, and newly created users on this workstation do not have any issues accessing the same address books. I am thinking that the user startup/configuration information may be corrupted and thought I would remove those files and redefine default info (like starting address book, etc).

Thanks in advance.

Gord and Jake Bullet,

Thank you very much for your guidance. With your help, I was finally able to resolve the issue of the one user on the Win2K workstation. I did not find the AMGR key anywhere in the registry (Win2K and Maximizer 6.0), but did go ahead and delete all entries under the CURRENT_USER\Software\Maximizer Technologies\Maximizer except the license info. Restarted the station and voila, perfect. I had to reset a few properties that were previously entered in the registery, but that was expected. I guess that one of the entries somehow got corrupted and caused this issue. By removing them and restarting Maximizer, the user info was recreated.

Thanks again for your assistance.

Derrick
