Why do some scheduled meetins not show up on my hotlist?

Why do some scheduled meetings not show up on my hotlist? I right click on a Contact, click on Schedule / Meeting and fill in the details but the meeting time and date do not show up on my Hotlist.

Ignore my lsee than intelligent request. I just needed to look at the Check box for "Show Appointments". I can now see everything but seems to be to be silly that all "activities" scheduled cannot be shown by default. That was one of the things I liked about ACT!. Not thinking of switching back but it did have a couple of features.........
