I originally had Windows XP without any service packs on my Home Office computer. I went out and purchased the latest addition of Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 2.

Ever since this service pack was installed I have had a problem. I followed the instructions on the Maximizer web site and told the MS Firewall not to block Pervasive so that part is OK.

Anyway, as soon as I open Maximizer I get a warning now saying there is a Driver Problem. I rebooted the computer and the problem came back again. On the 3rd attempt it opened OK, but the "Critical Error" keeps appearing. The funny thing is that Max works OK, or so it seems, but the error stays on the screen and I couldn't get rid of it. I just tried again and the program opened. This one time the error didn't appear, but I have no idea if it will come back.

I was wondering if there is anyone who may know something about this problem and can shed some light on it. I couldn't find anything on the Maximizer FAQ page about it.

By the way, the box that comes up with the error is the one that asks you if you want to send MS a report or don't send.
